enjoyed equally by single students and couples.

the BBQ Institutes founder has worked with Doug and Sandy Rowell of
McKinley Springs Winery on Operation BBQ for our Troops events for
many years. This is a 2,0000 acre vineyard supplying 25 of
Washington's top wineries with grapes. Doug also uses the
grapes to craft his excellent McKinley Springs wines. The class
will be help next to their tasting room which is just outside
Prosser Washington which is right next to the Tri-Cities.
Tri-Cities airport in Pasco (Code:PSC) is serviced by United, Delta
and Horizon/Alaskan. It's also a beautiful 3 hour dive
from Seattle.
Our students are
amazed that in 6 hours we can reliably smoke a Brisket from cold raw meat to a
tender and tasty product that is the best Brisket they have eaten.
Most of our students have been cooking for years and newbies are
very welcome. Everybody is guarantee d
to leave cooking better BBQ. Our methods are easy and
repeatable. You'll learn how to BBQ and grill like a pro from Grand
Champion Pitmaster Konrad "Teddy Bear" Haskins. Konrad's near
foolproof methods have been delighting students, judges and
customers since 2002. We will use and discuss charcoal,
pellet cookers and
gas. Limit 25 students per class. See
